Options is the domestic violence and sexual assault shelter, education, and advocacy center in Morganton, NC. They are a small non-profit advocacy center that provides empowerment services and emergency shelter to Burke County families in crisis. They support victim of domestic and sexual violence as they become empowered to make life decisions and break the cycle of abuse and economic dependence.

Christ Centered Recovery Program is a faith based ministry and renewal center designed to help men who are ready for a change in their lives. They offer men who suffer from the bondage of alcohol and drug addiction, a safe christian environment, at no cost. They are a 12 month discipleship program who provides daily bible study, one on one spiritual counseling, and daily devotional studies. This ministry gives hope through Jesus Christ to the addicted men that truly want a second chance at succeeding and rebuilding their lives.

Real Love Ministries International has had the privilege and blessing of partnering with the Church of God in Minoterie, other Haiti-based ministries along with churches and individuals in the United States to equip Haitian-led ministry in 4 villages: Minoterie (campus home), Crochu, Belladere, Thomazeau plus the island of LaGonave. Presently our core ministries are: an Orphanage, Widows Mite, Real Love Academy, Real Love Medical Clinic and Word of Life-Real Love Church. In addition to supporting the work of these ministries our visiting Mission Teams assist our Haitian staff with ministry to prostitutes, evangelism and outreach initiatives, and pastoral and discipleship training. Clean water projects and economic sustainability projects are also a part of our expanding vision to positively impact Haiti with the Real Love of Jesus!

Amorem of Burke County (Hospice) provides quality, thoughtful, loving care to patients with terminal illness and support to their families and offer education and grief support to communities served.

Bethel Colony of Mercy was founded in 1948 by Mr. and Mrs. James N. Claffee as a non-profit, non-denominational, Christian ministry to men and women in bondage to alcohol and drug addiction. Bethel Colony has offered help to thousands of men from all walks of life. Having received new life in Christ, scores have experienced restored health, renewed minds, redeemed reputations, and reunited families.

The PCCOB is a Christ-centered ministry which partners with and provides life-affirming care to our community. At PCCOB, you will find services for women and families experiencing pregnancy. They are committed to helping families of Burke County make the best choices for themselves, their families, and their pre-born child. 

Burke United Christian Ministries is a community-based nonprofit providing Burke County residents with nutritious foods (through our soup kitchen and food pantry), financial assistance, and educational opportunities.  They accomplish this by keeping Christ at the forefront of all we do. 

The Catawba River Baptist Association is “a fellowship of Churches-on-Mission.” Each Church is independent and autonomous, but we have made a covenant, or agreement, to work cooperatively together to touch people for Jesus. The 67 Churches of the Catawba River Baptist Association know that we can do much more by working cooperatively as partners than any Church could do alone. Affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and the North Carolina Baptist Convention, the Catawba River Baptist Association is located in beautiful western North Carolina. We are comprised of 67 Churches located in Burke County where the population is around 90,000 people. The Staff of the Catawba River Baptist Association works with these 68 Churches and Missions in various ways to encourage them in their work of missions and evangelism.

Foothills Service Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Christian home repair ministry established for the purpose of assisting persons in Burke and surrounding counties to make homes dry, safe, warm, and accessible.  The project is committed to honoring the God-given dignity and value of all people, regardless of race, color or creed.  They intend to promote the physical, and the spiritual health of all those who need help but are lacking knowledge or physical ability to help themselves with emphasis on assisting the older adult population.  Their ministry is possible only because of the many caring people willing to help others in need.

NC State Baptist Convention is a way for churches to accomplish more for God’s kingdom by working together. We believe we can do more together as N.C. Baptists embrace a unifying vision to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to all the nations. Over 3,000 local, autonomous churches voluntarily work together to support missions and ministries near and far.

For those on mission to spread the Gospel, The Gideons International is an evangelical association that equips and mobilizes Christian business and professional men, along with their wives, to share God’s Word, winning others for Jesus Christ worldwide.

Brother Mark Jayson Martinez and his family are members of the Independent Baptist Mission for Asians. God has tied their hearts to the Phillippines and Southeast Asia, where they desire to win souls, plant churches, and train the nationals.
